  • This session details the steps necessary to exploit both the CPACF and Crypto Express hardware on System z.  Topic areas in clude WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, Apache, OpenSSL/OpenSSH, and file system encryption with the kernel cryptographic apis.   This is great content to include in your next Linux master image or Cloud deployment.  Why wouldn't you want to reduce your CPU consumption and increase transaction throughtput.
