DFSMS Basics: Transactional VSAM (TVS) Basics/Implementation

In this session, the speaker will discuss what Transactional VSAM (TVS) does, how it differs from regular VSAM Record Level Sharing (RLS), and what benefits you'll get by switching to TVS. In addition, this session will cover the steps needed to implement TVS at both the system and application level. It will also discuss the addition of commit points, set-up of the Undo and Shunt Logs, and how the backup and error recovery works in TVS.
