IBM will eliminate BookManager format in a future release of z/OS, and will focus on providing Internet only delivery of content. This session will provide an overview of the proposed changes for information distribution and preview the redesigned Internet Library website and electronic only distribution of softcopy collections. The speaker will discuss information currency and will solicit your requirements by asking questions such as:
- We have gotten so comfortable with pervasive Internet access, what do you do when it’s cut off?
- What features would you like to see in the future?
- What are your information delivery and currency requirements?
- If you are a mobile user what are your requirements for z/OS documentation?
