Biographical Sketch:
Nick currently works in the IBM Systems division as the solution architect for the DS8000 disk subsystem. He also works with a number of clients on their storage strategy and advising them on their deployment of IBM storage technology. He is a member of the IBM Academy of Technology and is the author of several whitepapers and redbooks in the area of enterprise storage and resilience solutions. He is regarded as one of the world experts in IBM replication and automated tiering technology and holds a number of patents in these areas. Nick graduated from Trinity College Cambridge in 1994 with a degree in Mathematics and has previously worked both outside IBM and in the IBM services organisation in the areas of parallel sysplex, performance and enterprise storage.
