  • This session will take you through the steps required to enable Linux to participate in a zEnterprise Ensemble and how to validate the setup.  It will focus mainly on Linux running under z/VM, but will review the steps to allow Linux in a native LPAR to communicate over the IEDN.  Installation of the GPMP on Linux for System z and configuring WebSphere for Application Response Measurement is also discussed.   
    We will also take a look at the network monitoring, resource adjustments, and HOPs report data generated for the Linux systems.
