  • BYOC Twitter for Business - An Introductory Guide (1.7 MB)
  • Social media's use for business purposes is growing. Although Twitter was originally intended for communication among individuals, a number of organizations have begun to actively participate on the platform. However, not all companies are using Twitter in the same way. Some are tweeting, some are just listening, and some really savvy companies are doing both. From a business perspective, Twitter is a useful communication tool that enables you to interact with people around the world both publically and privately, in a "micro-blog" way.

In this session, our speaker will provide you with an introduction to Twitter and its associated terminology, help you to sign up for, and personalize, your account, and provide some best practices on using Twitter for business purposes. So, bring your PC, and join us for an interesting session on using Twitter.

To help you get ready for this session, you can sign up for a twitter account in advance at http://www.twitter.com, and click the "Sign Up" button. If you haven't, you can sign up for an account during the session.
