Implementing a Mainframe Platform From the Ground Up

It is important for a new mainframer to understand not only some parts of this amazing mainframe platform but also to understand how things started and implemented and actually put into production. If you have not done an implementation yet from scratch,it takes more time to understand relations and how things are working...This process from begining of a CEC HW receiving,DS8X boxes,IBM Tape System Solution (TS3500,TS7700) receving ,powering them on,doing necesary HW and SW definitions will be explained in a way for a new mainframer can understand process  and relationship of HW and SW.The speaker will share her experiences including hints and tips that can be usefull for new mainframers to make their work much effectively and with a better view and understanding by explaining her experience of these three types of installation from begining to making them available to production.
