    • The SMF type 30 record for steps and jobs has over fifty CPU measurements. Do you know which you should use for management reports, chargeback, and capacity planning? Likewise, the SMF type 72 records for service class periods have over twenty CPU measurements. Do you know which are combinations of others? What is normalization, and when should it be used? What on earth is a nominal CPU factor? How are zIIP and zAAP CPU times accounted for? Why should you care about CPU usage of independent enclaves, dependent enclaves, work-related enclaves, and remote system enclaves?
