Biographical Sketch: Brian Gormanly is a Software Developer and Analyst at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.  He has worked in Higher Education for 6 years and has worked with IBM, Oracle and Mainline on a project to maximize performance of the college ERP system on Linux on Z.  He has also been involved in the implementation and customization of 2 ERP systems, one of which was the first to successfully run on System z. In addition he spends a great deal of time doing Java development for enterprise portals.
