Laura Knapp (AES)
What many of us are quickly learning is that in a virtualized world performance management is a critical issue for the success of any project. While provisioning may provide high availability, the result may not provide the same level of performance for the server. This session focuses on three key areas:
1- OSA performance issues
2- HiperSockets performance issues
3- Guest LAN performance issues
While this is just a small subset of the performance issues faced in a virtualized environment, these areas are critical and can be covered within the session time limits.
Tracks: Linux Systems Management, Virtualization for New Services, Virtualization of Existing Resources and z/VM Systems Programming
