Biographical Sketch: Laura Knapp has 35 Years in the network, system, security and service managment business. She has worked for Texas Instruments in their worldwide network, as a consultant for IBM with a focus on system, service management, security, and trusted identity. Her background includes development, trouble-shooting, product management, training, sales, marketing, analyst relations, and customer support. After her retirement from IBM in 2010 she went to work at Applied Expert Systems focusing on performance management of vitualized and cloud environments. Her experience allows her to cover many aspects of today's changing business world and she always brings a pragmatic view to very complex customer situations.
