  • The way that IBM develops, delivers and distributes documentation is changing. BookManager is no longer strategic and it is gradually being phased out. IBM's corporate strategy of authoring in DITA XML and delivering information via Information Centers is impacting how you receive and integrate documentation. IBM is investing in new interfaces to improve productivity and modernize the mainframe. This provides us with the opportunity to eliminate thousands of pages of traditional documentation. But what if something goes wrong -- will you have the information you need? Help us decide what can and cannot be eliminated. How will you ensure that you have access to the information you need in a critical situation or for disaster recovery. Brainstorm with your colleagues so you can have the information you need when you need it. This interactive session will be especially helpful to people who manage intranet repositories of documentation. What are your information management needs? With social networking on the rise, are there new ways that you would like to communicate with IBM and others in the z/OS community? The session will be a great opportunity to hear, share and be heard.
