Chwan-Hang Lee will give an in depth view of the new features in the next
release of the Enterprise PL/I compiler and the z/OS XL C/C++ compiler that will be in z/OS V1.12.
The PL/I compiler enhancements include numerous usability enhancements and performance improvements as well as the introduction of support for the new z/OS Decimal Floating Point hardware, and this talk will help you understand what this all means for you. In addition, because and XL C/C++ share a lot of run-time characteristics, Chwan will also discuss the new features of C/C++ to be delivered in z/OS V1.12.
