CICSPlex SM - A Minimalist Approach

The installation and use of CICSPlex SM is becoming more of a requirement as IBM is creating CICS features that rely on its use.  This session will cover the minimum requirements to install and configure a CICSplex.  The functionality of its components such as Single System Image (SSI), Single Point of Control (SPOC), Work Load manager (WLM), Real time Analysis (RTA), Monitor (MON), Business Application Services (BAS) and the Batch Repository Facility (BATCHREP) will be described.  Lastly, the use of the Web User Interface (WUI) and the CICS Explorer will be discussed.
