z/OS has three excellent options for external security, one from IBM (RACF) and two from CA Technologies (ACF2 and Top Secret). Most people have not worked with all three, but if you at least know one of them, you can learn a good understanding of the other two.
This session, last given at the Denver SHARE in August of 2009, provides such an opportunity, discussing the history, philosophy, architecture and command languages of each of these External Security Managers.
