Biographical Sketch: Erika is a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM and is a product architect in z/OS DFSMS. She is responsible for leading the software development of IBM's tape products on z/OS. She works closely with the storage architects in IBM Systems to delivery solutions on z/OS that take advantage of IBM's tape storage products. This includes support for IBM's tape libraries and tape drives (both virtual and physical) and the support of these products through policy based storage management. She also leads the development of our archiving product on z/OS (OAM) which is responsible for managing unstructured "object" data. She is based in Tucson, AZ and has worked for IBM for over 28 years.
