Biographical Sketch: Frank is probably best known for his role as a project leader in IBM’s Redbooks organization where he was responsible for Redbooks about Parallel Sysplex, High Availability, and GDPS, in addition to presenting ITSO workshops around the world and performing sysplex consulting for some of IBM’s largest customers. Prior to that, Frank was an MVS Systems Programmer in IBM Ireland. Frank left IBM in March 2014 and now works with Cheryl Watson as a technical consultant and editor of Cheryl Watson’s Tuning Letter. Frank and Cheryl work together on the Tuning Letter, classes about exploiting new z/OS capabilities and optimizing the cost of ownership of System z, and offering customer consulting.
