  • GDPS/Active-Active is the latest addition to the GDPS family of high availability and disaster recovery solutions. GDPS/Active-Active is a paradigm shift from the other GDPS solutions as it is focused at the individual workload level, rather than the entire infrastructure, and because it provides a near-continuous availability model for regional level disaster recovery. This allows the solution to deliver very aggressive recovery times at any distance, and to provide the ability to perform, almost instantly, planned workload switching between sites.

This session will provide an overview of the GDPS/Active-Active concept, and will examine some significant enhancements that have been recently introduced. If you want to know more about GDPS/Active-Active and how this offering can be for appropriate for you, either today or in the near future, this session will provide you with the answers.
