GDPS/Active-Active is the latest addition to the GDPS family of high availability and disaster recovery solutions. GDPS/Active-Active is a paradigm shift from the other GDPS solutions as it is focused at the individual workload level, rather than the entire infrastructure, and because it provides a near-continuous availability model for regional level disaster recovery.
