  • z/OSMF Config Assistant for z/OS CS Lab 2 (1.6 MB)
  • In z/OS V2.1 the "Configuration Assistant for z/OS Communications Server" tool in zOSMF was rewritten to use Liberty WebSphere. This change has improved the installation, customization, and usage of the tool. As a result of this rewrite, the configuration panels have changed. Come to this hands-on lab to become familiar with the new panels, see how to view the reusable objects:  Traffic Descriptors, Security Levels, Requirement Maps, and Address Groups.

Complete this Lab (Part 1 of 2) to configure, load, and test AT-TLS (Application Transparent - Transport Layer Security), Policy Based Routing, and Quality of Service policies. Or complete the companion Lab (Part 2 of 2) to configure, load, and test Defense Manager Demon, Intrusion Detection Services, IPsec, and Network Security Services. Or attend both session to complete both labs.
