This Hands-on Lab provides participants the opportunity to initially define, create and populate an new IMS Catalog. The participants will be able to select and define IMS Catalog HALDB Partition sizes based upon sizes of different ACB Libraries provided. Each participant will create and populate their own IMS Catalog using IMS Provided utilities. This workshop provides an environment to safely adjust or manipulate IMS Catalog definition parameters and gain experience in a non-production environment.
