  • This session will provide you with real life experiences in planning, and performing an IBM z/OS audit. The presenter will walk you through a simple approach in preparing and performing a technical audit of IBM’s z/OS environment. Significant controls of high risk z/OS audit areas, which should be included within a basic audit of z/OS, will be presented and explained. In addition, recommended skills, resources and audit software packages will be presented to provide auditors with background information, which will enhance an auditors’ knowledge of the IBM z/OS environment. This session is intended for IT Auditors who will be performing their first IBM z/OS audit but will be useful for those who wish to better understand the IBM mainframe environment from an audit perspective.
