The always entertaining IBM legend Bob Rogers will regale us with his favorite stories of MVS Systems Programming trials and tribulations that he has observed throughout his long and distinguished career. If you've never had the opportunity to chat with Bob over a beverage at SCIDS, now is your chance to experience his particular brand of technology, humor, and if you are not careful learn some foundational lessons about approaching technology projects, problems, and managing information technology. You may also learn something about z/OS and mainframes.

This is a serendipitous session in which the speaker will choose subjects from his personal experience which includes 43 years at IBM where he retired as a Distinguished Engineer in 2012.
