  • One of the most intriguing question when running Java application is how to achieve maximum performance. While we use Java for a variety of applications, we are always concerned with performance, either throughput, startup, CPU consumption and/or consistency.  IBM Java Runtime Environment provides a wide range of options to tune and craft these performances as needed. This session will describe the most useful and powerful options for improving performance. It will target common cases of interest with emphasis on system Z and demonstrate the effectiveness of the options with several results.
