A high level overview of the economics of running Linux on System z and how it compares to x86 and the public cloud. The speaker will examine the role of the mainframe as a platform for public or private cloud whilst also considering hybrid connectivity. He will address the question "where does System z play within public/private and hybrid cloud architectures and what are the benefits both technically and commercially for running a cloud on the mainframe?"
