As Cloud deployments increase and become more critical, and as sensitive business information finds its way to a hosted environment, the underpinning technology becomes subject to far more scrutiny than in the past. Business Analytics offerings through Cloud technology are often best served running under System z. This session will discuss, weigh, and make suggestions on best practices for BA within a Cloud environment.
Business Analytics often requires access to sensitive information, but it also often creates its own information. This data must be locked down securely so that only those with the proper credentials may utilize it.
Examples of Cloud topologies (public, private, hybrid) will be discussed, as well as what BA vendors like IBM and Rocket are doing to address this new wave.
