Exploiting z/OS - Tales From the MVS Survey

The SHARE MVS Program Survey asked members about whether they had exploited certain z/OS enhancements. In many cases, we found that some people weren't sure about whether an enhancement even applied to them. So Cheryl is taking many of the items and providing information about: what the enhancement does, who can benefit from it, how hard or easy is it to implement, what references are available, how much it costs, and whether people are using it. Just a few of the enhancements include: HiperDispatch (there are some surprises here!), CEA, CIM, SMF Logger, Message/Record Flooding, Health Checker, Operlog, BCPii, z/OSMF, DS8000 goodies, and VSAM RLS/TVS.
