NetView for z/OS provides TCP/IP management support to address the needs of today's complex networks. In this session the speaker will describe new functions and capabilities, focusing on problem solving scenarios. One common set of problems require running and reading an IP packet trace. The speaker will show how packet traces can be used to solve these problems. Another common set of problems requires browsing and searching records from multiple logs. The NetView for z/OS consolidated log facility (CANZLOG) combines the disparate logs into one.
