  • Big Data - Big Security Risk (3.3 MB)
  • Big Data is one of the latest technology initiatives, and there is no denying that organizations are embracing the big data promise.  Information Life Cycle managers will tell you that they have security covered.  Most likely, they are only considering access control, and have not considered and evaluated other risks that Big Data may represent.  Is there legal liability hidden in all of this data?  Is the data "right"?  Can it be stolen, or worse, can the analytical output be stolen?  Even worse, could it be manipulated to give bad analyses?  The presenter will show the range of risks and necessary mitigation actions that organizations need to consider and implement to protect their Big Data capability and assure its value.
