    • DFSMS has been around since the early 1990s and has been implemented by a large number of z/OS customers. However, many sites have not revisited their SMS constructs and routines since they were first implemented. The speaker will review features in DFSMS which you may have missed and suggest updated data set allocation practices. In addition, he will describe how these simple changes can help optimize your use of DFSMShsm.
