With volumes of data growing exponentially big data analytics has risen to the top of the CIO's agenda and is heading your way soon! Much of this new Data is unstructured or semi structured and as such does not lend itself to ingestion into Databases such as DB2 or IMS. However, zOS has been doing Big Data type operations against large volumes of traditional data for many years. It is imperative that we identify the different technologies and combine the results when required. This presentation will look at these technologies such as HADOOP, Streams, Traditional BI etc and show how they co-exist and intersect
