Biographical Sketch: I work as a Technical and Solution Architect, leading the IBM H/w Platform for System Z, with Tata Consultancy Sevices Limited, the largest provider of Information Technology in Asia. I joined TCS 11 years back and since then have worked in various dimensions - As a Programmer, Technical Architect, Solution Architect, Db2 DBA (with specific focus on Performance Tuning), Websphere MQ and Websphere MQ Broker System Administrator. I have also been part of critical Banking Delivery Re-engineering, Merger and Acquisition, Data Migration and Application Migration intiatives. In my current role, I proactively give solutions and help out various customers in providing ideas on how to move into a next generation system (SYSPLEX, Virtualization), how to reduce License Cost, Various Modernization Techniques, Reducing CPU Costs, TCO Reduction in Mainframe and various architecture designs on z/OS and z/LINUX.
