  • This two part presentation will discuss customer performance experiences which can be utilized to optimize Oracle workloads running Linux on System z.  The focus will be on Oracle Database 11gR2 but we plan to briefly discuss other products like Fusion Middleware 12c, Oracle Service Bus, and Enterprise Grid Control 12c as well. Tips on how to configure optimized storage and network configurations for running Oracle on System z will be provided. We will approach the optimization from two sides: From the Oracle Middleware side and from the Linux OS / System z side.
