  • This session will discuss many different features, functions, and controls available to defining LPARs for most the most efficient performance.  Topics covered will include the impacts of different forms of capping, (initial, defined, group) and will discuss concepts such as HiperDispatch, IRD, and impact of logical CPs on capacity.  Liberal use of real world example will be used to highlight concepts covered in the session.
