Biographical Sketch: David is the Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President for Primerica Financial Services. He joined Primerica, then Massachusetts Indemnity and Life Insurance Company, in February, 1980. Prior to his role as CIO, David directly managed the Systems Programming, Data Center Operations, Network Systems, and Workstation Management. He later moved into managing Applications Programming, Information Security and Telecom. David became CIO in 1997. With thirty years of hands-on experience, David is extremely well versed in all areas of Technology, including IBM Mainframe, Wintel Engineering and AIX Distributed Systems, Networking, and Mobile technology. The award winning flagship application, TurboApps, has revolutionized the way Primerica does business; this application has been rewritten to so that it can run under multiple browsers on multiple platforms. David is a member of the AT&T Financial Services Advisors Council. Today David manages a team of approximately 260 IT Data Center, Application Programming, and Information Security associates supporting Business Units in Duluth, GA; New York, NY and Toronto, Canada. David attended Lovett School and Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA. David plays golf as opportunities allow. His office is located in Duluth, GA.
