  • This session will describe how to get started with a proof of concept project running an Oracle database on a Linux guest on IBM System z. In a systematic way. it will cover how to run a competent Proof of Concept (PoC), how to measure the PoC’s performance and how to make the environment production ready.  It will also cover some lessons learned with running the 11gR2 database on a Linux guest.
