This hands-on-lab will take the student thru the process of changing their master keys on a running system. The students will have access to a two-member Sysplex and use the newest functionality in ICSF (HCR7790) to accomplish a master key change across the plex. After completing this lab, the student will understand the master key change ceremony and the steps required to change the master keys without impacting their operational keys. These same steps can be adapted to recover the crypto keys at a DR site or in case of a hardware problem in production.
