    • This session will present an overview of the CICS Storage Management basics, the DSAs (24-bit, 31-bit, and 64-bit), the settings for storage protection, transaction isolation, command protection, program protection, will all  be discussed. Also presented will be information on performance and tuning covering the CICS storage manager statistics and monitoring data, using the CICS supplied reporting tools, along with how to look at specific issues such as short-on-storage, storage fragmentation, storage violations, and program compression.
