Biographical Sketch: Steve Ware, currently employed as a Systems Coordinator at the University of Florida (UF) in Gainesville, FL, is an elected non-officer Director of the SHARE Board. He has been the SHARE CICS Project Manager, SHARE AADI Program Officer and has been a SHARE volunteer since 1996. He has a BSBA in Business Administration from UF, graduating in 1979. Before starting work at UF in 1983, Steve worked at the Florida Farm Bureau Insurance Co. Steve has presented at SHARE, UF, AITP/DPMA, Gartner, Forrester, and the IBM CICS Technical and Impact conferences. Steve has worked with CICS since 1981, and has been both a CICS application and system programmer (since 1986). Steve was a visiting instructor at UF for 5 semesters, where he taught CICS in an "Information Systems Design and Development" course. Although he very much enjoys working with UF, SHARE, CICS, IBM and the "mainframe enterprise super server", he also enjoys listening to and making music, playing frisbee/aerobie, and snow/water skiing.
