The session will  discuss how to get started with Oracle Database on Linux on System z in a systematic way. Topics include how to set up z/VM Linux Oracle Database and Disk, then how to load the database and test plus performance evaluation considerations.  Sizing tools and considerations, production readiness and Oracle Applications will also be covered.
