Current applications require nearly 100% availability. This means that applications need to function in a clustered high availability environment so that applications remain available through both planned and unplanned outages. This hands-on workshop will provide an opportunity to install and configure the SuSE Linux High Availability Extensions across multiple Linux virtual machines, and then test to see that a simple clustered application continues to function when one server fails, simulating both planned and unplanned outages.
