Trends in Data Center Infrastructure: Perspective on the Evolution of Technology and Process

This presentation will explore trends in the evolution of core data center technologies including power & cooling, servers, storage and networking, along with accompanying virtualization and management technologies. The presenter will tie the technology developments to best practices for data center transformation and a discussion of the stages of maturity from basic virtualization to implementing enterprise cloud infrastructure architectures. The presenter will draw from Forrester Research’s IT research as well as his own experiences both as a vendor and as an analyst/consultant.
