Room 303 (Hynes Convention Center)
Speaker: Horst Sinram (IBM Corporation)
Handouts
  • S7780 CapacityProvisioning.pdf (2.4 MB)
  • In this session the speakers will provide an introduction and update to the z/OS Capacity Provisioning function. Capacity Provisioning is a z/OS base function that can monitor z/OS systems on IBM System z servers. Activation and deactivation of temporary capacity can be suggested or performed automatically, based on user-defined schedules and workload criteria. Of course, the latest updates for z/OS 1.12 will be included.

This session is recommended for zNextGen (zNG) members, and those new to the System z platform. It was updated since SHARE in Seattle.
