z/OS 1.12: Sysprog Goody Bag

In this session, the speaker will discuss some of the goodies that have been included in the most recent releases of z/OS in the BCP, DFP and related elements that are of particular interest to Systems Programmers. The focus for this edition of the presentation is z/OS 1.12 which includes new z/OS capabilities such as Auto-Reply for WTORs, a new Vary Control Unit command, enhancements to Extended Address Volume, IDCAMS DELETE of all members of a PDS or PDSE, less disruptive SVC Dump data capture, enhancements to Dynamic Exits and LLA, control of dispatch timeslice for discretionary work, TSO/E support for multiple logons with JES2, setting LE parameters as non-overrideable, and much more.
