Biographical Sketch:
I started in 1980 after 4 years in The Danish Bank Academy and after a couple of years in 1984 computers got my interest, and switched to the bank’s development center. I also have a 3 year education in computers. I have been COBOL applications developer, project manager, database manager and participated in all the steps of system development. Today I have a special area on web services on the mainframe, and support and education of our developers on the mainframe environment. This includes framework, integration platform and infrastructure. Our team supports about 500 developers in 3 different countries, Denmark, Poland and India. I have also participated in the ITSO (International Technical Support Organization) program and wrote a couple of Redbooks on CICS 3.2 and TFIM Security, I am also a Steering Committee member of Guide Share Europe – Nordic Region along with member of RDz user group Europe. Now I am participating in a project, where we design and develop a new source handling system, in order to prepare us direct source access from RDz. I have also started to educate the developers in our Eclipse setup, and I am always trying to find new Eclipse plugins to ease the work for our developers.
