Biographical Sketch: Andreas Bieswanger is a Senior Technical Staff Member and has been working as developer and architect in various areas of System z firmware development. He has been leading the energy efficiency and management work starting with z9. His current focus is on architecture, design and development of zEnterprise Unified Resource Manager componentry. He is member of the Unified Resource Manager architecture team and responsible for design and delivery of the energy management aspects. Andreas is also leading the development activities around future extensions of the Unified Resource Manager.
