VSP: Back to the Future with IAM

IAM Version 9.2 is ready for IBM z Systems including the new IBM z13.  Discussion of the strategies and results of how IAM improves VSAM application performance on z Systems by maximizing the benefits of  z/Architecture including z/HPF I/O and 64-bit virtual storage, with results from real user applications.  We will review enhancements to the IAMSMFVS program that identifies VSAM files and applications that will benefit from the high performance capabilities of IAM.  Conclude with a discussion of the Best Practices with IAM to maximize performance and benefits of IAM.
