    • Many sites are starting COBOL V5 migration initiatives to take advantage of potential CPU savings.  This session covers some principles that can be used to build a successful migration strategy. 

    Topics include pre-migration steps to smooth the runway; developing a plan to minimize risk when selecting what to migrate; considerations during the migration step; how to measure and relay the success of a migration to upper management; and finally what to expect from COBOL V5 programs running in production.
