  • GDPS is IBM's premier continuous availability and disaster recovery solution for managing z/OS, z/VM and Linux on IBM z Systems and their data. The solution is quickly evolving, and this presentation will cover the exciting new features and functions added in the latest release.

    You will learn about the GDPS Appliance, which extends GDPS capabilities into z/VM and Linux on IBM z Systems environments that do not have z/OS. We will also cover the new z/OS Proxy function, which extends the GDPS functions to z/OS images that are not part of the GDPS Sysplex. Finally, you will hear about the GDPS/MTMM solution, which provides protection against multiple levels of unplanned events.
