The IBM DB2 11 for z/OS Utilities Suites provides better availability and performance while using fewer system resources than previous releases. Major new changes include Online REORG with improved usability and reduced drain outages, RUNSTATS PROFILE usability and CPU reduction, LOAD elapsed time benefits through parallelism, and better RECOVER point-in-time capability across schema changes. In addition, there are numerous smaller items and support to exploit core function enhancements across DB2.
