Beyond Analytics: Availability Intelligence from RMF and SMF with Examples from z/OS Storage and Systems

By using automation to interpret RMF and SMF data using built-in expert knowledge about the infrastructure and the workloads, a new level of protection of availability at the primary site can be established.  Availability Intelligence can provide extremely practical ways to avoid many of the incidents that lead to unavailability.  In this session the speaker will describe Availability Intelligence and also show implementation examples from z/OS mainframe environments.
